Q: I don’t see the style/color that I want in the shop. Can I place a custom order?

A: At this time I’m unable to fulfill custom made-to-order requests. The shop will be re-stocked as frequently as I can manage, so keep an eye out for our re-stock email.

Q: When can I expect to receive my order? 

A: In-stock items will generally ship within 5-7 business days, but made to order pieces can take up to 8 weeks. Due to the nature of ceramic work, it's hard to guarantee a ship date. If you need an item by a certain date, be sure you are ordering an "IN STOCK" item.

Domestic orders usually arrive within one week of shipping; International orders generally take 3-4 weeks.

Q: HELP! My item arrived in a million pieces! What do I do?!

A: First, TAKE A DEEP BREATH, we'll get this sorted out! Unfortunately, though we take great care when packaging your order, shipping pottery can occasionally result in broken items. I am a shipping veteran with lots of packaging and shipping experience under my belt, but even so, USPS is hard on packages, and every so often something gets broken in transit. (Believe me, it's rare.) IF your package arrives with a broken item please follow these instructions:


1. Immediately photograph the shipped box - paying special attention to damage to the box - and the broken piece(s).
2. Contact me ASAP to let me know about the unfortunate situation. **You MUST contact me within 7 days of the arrival of the package.**
3. Keep the packaging AND broken pieces on hand (for insurance purposes)
4. Now that that is done, sit back and wait for a replacement to arrive.

Q: I want to carry AWK Clayworks items in my boutique. How do I become a wholesale account?

A: I am so flattered that you are interested. Unfortunately at this time I am not accepting new wholesale accounts.
